I like liquid lipstick formulas a lot and What I search most in a liquid lipstick is how light weight the formula is and also whether it’s waterproof. Sugar Cosmetics is an Indian brand that I discovered few months ago and, when I tried their Smudge Me Not formula – To be frank ; I was really not a fan of it. When they released their Suede Secret Matte Lipcolours – I was one amongst their early shoppers. I like how comfortable it felt on my lips compared to Smudge me Not lipsticks. Last week they released 10 new shades and I picked two shades from their new release. In this post, I will be featuring the shades I picked up.

Packaging is quite good! The matte square tube with a spongy tip wand is perfect for applying liquid lipsticks. These are priced at 799 INR each and with the attractive discounts and offers all the time on their site – It’s awesome to grab these with discounts.
Formula, Pigmentation
SUGAR Suede Secret Matte Lipcolour’s formula is lightweight on lips. If you have extremely dry lips, I suggest you use a hydrating lip balm such as Sebamed, Carmex underneath. The formula is not drying like Smudge Me Not lipsticks.
Suede Secret Matte Lipcolours are #MadeInItaly . They apply smoothly on lips and dries down pretty quick to a comfortable matte finish. Opaque color coverage in a single swipe. Lipstick dries down quickly to a smooth and comfortable matte finish without leaving the lips parched. They don’t settle into fine lines of lips.
Longevity
Company claims that they stay upto 12-hours and there are a variety of shades to suit every complexion. The SUGAR Suede Secret Matte Lipcolour applies wet and then dries down to an ultra-matte yet ultra-comfortable finish that doesn’t budge or transfer. The formula is infused with moisturizing jojoba oil and shea butter that give lips a smooth, nondrying finish. Though company claim the lasting power upto 12 hours. On my lips, it stayed for about 6-7 hours after which it started to fade.

Suede Secret Matte Lipcolour – 13 Nylon Nude is a nude pink shade perfect for everyday wear. I really like the rose-y nude shade. One of the best everyday colors from the brand.
Suede Secret Matte Lipcolour – 11 Rayon Rose is a pretty brick rose or reddish pink color. Again, a color that brightens up the complexion really well. It’s again a lovely color that suits every skintone.

Overall, Sugar Cosmetics Suede Secret Matte Lipcolours in the shade – 11 Rayon Rose and 13 Nylon Nude are perfect colors that suit every complexion. Formula is really light weight and not over drying on lips. These colors applies smoothly giving a wet look and dries down to a comfortable matte finish. Doesn’t budge or bleed. Transfer proof as well. If you have extremely dry lips -I suggest you exfoliate your lips using a lip scrub and then apply a very hydrating lip balm underneath.
