L’Oreal Paris have introduced the Color Riche Star Pinks Collection “La Vie En Rose” – In this new star studded collection, you get different shades of delicate pinks. Ensured to give your lips a finish that is textured like velvet matte, these are the pinks tailored for every woman. In this review, I am reviewing 3 lip colors and 1 nail color for this new collection from L’Oreal Paris

L’Oreal Paris La Vie En Rose Collection Exclusive Pink Lipsticks – 995 INR

Packaging & Price – The L’Oreal Paris La Vie En Rose Collection Exclusive Pink Lipsticks are packaged in a matte lipstick casing with gold accent.; Remember last years Star Red Collection ; this year it’s matte casing with the signatures of the brand ambassadors embossed on particular shades endorsed by them. These make it look all prettier and worth it. These are priced at 995 INR each and there are 7 shades to choose from

Formula & Pigmentation – I selected the shades- Eva’s Delicate Rose & Jlo’s Delicate Rose. These are the only 2 shades that suits my medium complexion from the entire range and I am happy with these two shades. Eva’s Pink is a light rose nude, a perfect nude pink for medium-dark complexion.  I love it as an everyday shade. Texture is smooth, creamy and applies evenly. It’s fairly pigmented. With 2-3 swipes or so, it covers my pigmented lips and leave the beautiful color. My favorite is Eva’s Pink shade. In the LOTDs below you can see how the shade looks on my lips.

Longevity – I got about 4-5 hours of wear time and it survived a light meal. I had to reapply it once it started to fade.

One thing I noticed is, These are very creamy and so can melt in the sultry climate. It’s advised to store them in a cool dark place. I usually place it in a small bag before I throw it in my handbag. At home, I keep them in fridge.

Jlo’s Delicate Rose

“A medium pink berry with slight shimmers”

I like berries and anything in berry color easily attracts me. This is a very pretty berry pinkish shade, The texture is smooth and applies perfectly on lips. This is one single shade from the entire range that is flattering on every skintone. In the above LOTD, I have used only two swipes and you can see how nicely it applied. It can be layered to make the color more intense. It is very light weight and so, even if you layer it, you won’t find it heavy or patchy. My another favorite method of applying this is by using Julliane’s pink – Magnolia after applying the lipstick. This makes it more intense and this lasts for a long long time without transfering etc. I like it for day as well as night looks.

Eva’s Delicate Rose

“Perfect dusty rose nude for medium-dark complexions”

It’s a really pretty dusty rose nude shade that looks amazing on medium complexion (NC42 and above). I am wearing this shade a lot these days. It’s perfect for office wear. If you are someone who don’t like dark shades of lipsticks and don’t want a very lighter shade too- this is perfect for you.  It photographs well and I got about 4 .5 hours wear time after whichit started to fade from the angles. 4.5 hours wear time is ok for a person like me who does touch ups in between the day. Also, I like how it smells and also, this one isn’t very much moisturising. If you have extremely dry lips, It’s always advisable to scrub and exfoliate using a lip scrub and apply a lip balm before using this.

L’Oreal Paris L’Extraordinaire Mat Lip Glosses – 950 INR

The L’Oreal Paris L’Extraordinaire Mat Lip Glosses are packaged like the L’Oreal Extraordinaire Matte Lip Colors but in black and gold. This mat gloss come with a doe foot applicator which makes it easier to apply the product evenly; These are priced at 950 INR each and there are 5 shades available. I have the Julliane’s Pink – magnolia. Look at the LOTD below. It’s such a wearable shade. Again, I think this is the best shade that suits medium skintone from the entire range. I love it layer it on top of Jlo’s rose lipstick. It has a demi matte finish and stays for about 4-5 hours after which it starts to fade leaving a beautiful berry stain on lips.

L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Collection Star Vernis Pink Nail color – 299 INR

There are 3 shades of L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Collection Star Vernis Pink Nail colors. With color pigments that give your nails a statement look, these are the pinks approved and embellished by the star divas.Comes with a precision paddle brush for on fleek application that is mess-free. Gives your nails a super glossy finish that gets rid of the need for a separate top coat. These are priced at 299 INR each.

Overall, These products I selected are amazing and suits medium-dark skintones very well. I read a lot of bloggers complaining about how the lighter colors from this range lack pigmentation etc. So far, I am happy with the shades- Eva, Jlo & Julianne and I think they are all fairly pigmented, The L’Oreal Paris La Vie En Rose Collection Exclusive Pink Lipsticks have a creamy formula that glides easily onto the lips, the finish is semi matte. It’s moisturising enough unless you have very dry lips(Ensure you have exfoliated your lips and applied a lip balm before using this). The staying power of the lipsticks and glosses are about 4-5 hours including snacks and meals.
