Manuka Doctor ApiRefine Flawless is described as an advanced skincare primer with colour correcting properties to reduce redness and minimise the appearance of pores, fine lines and wrinkles for an even looking complexion. Also, claim to control the production of sebum and oil for a flawless refined complexion. Like other Manuka Doctor products, Manuka Doctor ApiRefine Flawless contains purified bee-friendly Bee Venom and Manuka Honey which have both been sourced from New Zealand. As you can see from the swatch, it has a bit of color to it. I like to apply it after moisturizing my face. The primer is packaged plastic bottle that has a pump which dispenses the primer.. You juts need one pump for a full face application. I specially target the areas where it tends to get oily, areas such as t-zone, mouth area. This primer is easy to blend and apply. It gets absorbed without making skin greasy. Also, it didn’t irritate my skin. But, For sensitive skin, I recommend doing a patch test before application. Some people are allergic to bee venom.
I definitely agree with the claims that it refines the complexion. However, I didn’t notice any difference on how my pores look after the primer. It took down redness around the nose etc well. It’s more like a BB cream/cc cream in my opinion than a primer. it gives a radiant glow to your face. My foundation went on nicely on top of this without making the foundation look cakey etc. It helped eliminate the shine. Only thing that I didn’t like about this is it didn’t help much about the pores. Also, I can’t say that it mattified my skin. Skin looked radiant and fresh..but not matte. I have to disagree with that claim.
