Long weekends are the best time to hangout with your friends or go for a day trip. I am so lucky that I live in a city that has a lot of historical attractions. In the beautiful city of Nawabs, We decided to explore the Famous Golkonda Fort. Weather was also pleasant for the day trip….
A lil about Golkonda Fort
The Golconda fort was first built by Kakatiya as part of their western defenses. It was built in 945 CE-970 CE[1] on the lines of the Kondapalli fort. The city and fortress are built on a granite hill that is 120 meters (400 ft) high and is surrounded by massive crenelated ramparts. (All info as per WIKI ).
